First, could you please any follow-up of this thread to the JBoss online forums 
(http://www.jboss.org/forums/). JBoss specific questions are not for the EJB-INTEREST 
ML.

Then, for you problem, be sure you've installed the JDK browser plugin, modified your 
HTML to call the plugin (while this seems to be no more necessary with 1.4), etc. Take 
a look at this doco for more information: 
http://www.jboss.org/online-manual/HTML/ch13s21.html
