Hi Milind,

The XADataSource is a DataSource that supports distributed transaction.

The XADataSource is useful when the program needs to manage transaction
which involved more than one data source (ro Database).

Hope this helps

regards
Philip

Hi All,

It may sound very silly questions but I am wondering why do we need
Transaction Data Sources when we have JDBC APIs with which we can manage
database transactions effectively. Tx Data Souce does not mean that data
would be commited and rolled back automatically with out user having to
write explicite commands.

Thanks in advance for taking your time !

Regards,
Milind
