JDBC2.0 supports a concept of batch SQL. This has a lot of performance advantage over
individual inserts.

Subject: EJB Server Transaction

Hi,

I'm currently working on an application where there is a need for me to
insert a nearly 10 to 20 thousand records at a shot.
My question is
a) whether can i insert the at a shot?
b) Can i use a usertransaction of the server to insert all the records into
the database in a single transaction. If i dont use the transaction then i
should delete all the recoreds progrmattically.

Regards
RKS Bhaskar kumar
