No.

EJB 2.0 servers are required to provide support for RMI-IIOP, but
they may support other protocols as well. RMI-IIOP does not have to

and argument types when accessing enterprise beans from a client.
EJB 1.1 servers are NOT required , however , to use IIOP as the distributed object 
protocol.

Does EAServer allow for embedded and remote calls in the same way
as OpenEJB ?
I guess after so many years of development and involvement in EJBs
it must be up to scratch ?

Do you provide a full development kit if so Where can I get hold of the EASERVER ?
