Hi Prasad,

I don't think that this is QUERY is valid if you use EJB-QL. EJB-QL is
still very primitive as compared to SQLs. So only alternative that you have
is use BMPs.

Milind

Hi All,

Is this valid. I am unable to use UPPER function in EJB QL. Is there any
other method of writing the query. The value of "?" can be uppercase or
lowercase, I have to get the whole data for it. How can I do that.

<ejb-ql><![CDATA[SELECT DISTINCT OBJECT(o) FROM Employee o WHERE
(UPPER(name)
LIKE ?1))]]></ejb-ql>

thanks
Prasad.
