We Tried using the JMX option and found it had some severe limitations,
one of them being you cant schedule cron jobs or jobs scheduled
To run a year from now. We used Quartz from sourceforge and It worked
perfect. I highly recommend it if you don't have infrastructure
constraints.

Thanks,
Sunder

Subject: Scheduler functionality using JMX

Hi,

We are looking to implement Scheduler function using JMX APIs. We are
using wls 6.1. I have gone through the reference material on bea site
and it seems that there are many performance related issues with the
current implementation. Has anybody implemented Scheduler using JMX
APIs?

Regards,
Milind
