Hmmm.
Everyone that I know of use the same database schema names in test, qa, prod, but
simply point the jdbc data source to different database instances in the test, qa, and
prod app servers. This is what we do. We are able to pre-bind all security, ejb, and
datasource refs prior to installing the ear file in test. We then use the same,
unchanged earfile in each environment.

Subject: cmp - Schema name in generated select statment

In our environment, the schema name changes between different environments
(Development,
QA, Production).

The problem is that we have a mandate to finsh QA testing, and to move the
EAR file directly to Production for deployment.

Does nayone know of any way to change shema name without re-mapping or
otherwise manipulating code for CMPs in the EJB 1.x environment? (We use
Webspher App Server 4.x).

Has this been addressed in the EJB 2.0 spec / implementation?
