Yeah the command pattern seems to be the way to do. Am doing a lil R&D on
it, shall ask my doubts after i am done with it.

Vikram.

U could use command pattern to communicate with the EJBs.
In which case no "related component JAR files " need be on the client side.

yes
i meant that. Also you can take these classes from your local disc.
RMI runtime allows that but i never tried it with an application server.
you can pass a codebase property pointing to the web server , ftp server of
something else to your vm when you start
your client code. if rmi runtime cannot find needed classes in your
classpath it searchs the pointed server and download
them to local vm.

Again i never tried it with a application server.:)

look at RMI spec. for more info.

Of course this is possible. you can download this classes everytime you run
your client app. this can result in some issues. However,
this is not a good choice so usually client needed clases are packaged into
a client jar and handed over client side.

Hi Guru's,

I have a basic doubt in EJB,is possible to access the Deployed EJB
components from the Client system without having the
related component JAR files in the Client System.

I feel copying the EJB jar files in all the client system is
overhead.

Is there any alternative way to access the EJB components without
having the related JAR(Home.class.Remote.class etc..)
in the Client System ?.

Thankx in Advance
