Hello,
So does that mean, if
ejbHome look up is done using the ServiceLocator Pattern as
in the ch3 of the book mentioned, there is no need to have the
ejb-local-ref tags in the ejb-jar.xml for that SLSB or whateven EJB
using/referencing that local entity??

Is it necessary to place all
the local entity beans referenced by the SLSB in its ejb-local-refs. Is
there any way, where we can list this ejb-local-refs at application level and
can be inherited by the the underlying components , just like the datasource
connection factory to be defined for all the CMP entity beans.
