Hello,

Can you please point out which part of the Ejb Specs lays down this resctriction ... Is this issue addressed in the upcoming JSR 220 !!  If not, we should make it point for the expect group to remove this restriction and support this behaviour in the upcoming releases of ejb specs.

what say ???

regards,
Vikram Naik

Subject: Reg Related Entities (CMP 2.0)
Importance: High

Hello,

Is it mandatory to have related entities (.i.e. using CMR) in CMP 2.0 to be packaged in the same ejb-jar !!  I have a relationship (1:M) defined between two local entity beans which are packaged in two different ejb-jars but same under same J2EE application.

The application container (JBOSS in my case) is not able to resolve the entities having relations packaged in different jar.

TIA,
Vikram Naik
