I gather it was broken :

and we didn't detect it at that time because we were not tracking HEAD 
with ekiga's HEAD.

So this is a new issue, and it can have a fast fix by just removing ".:" 
from the non-win32 P_DEFAULT_PLUGIN_DIR.
