Hello everybody, I'm really amazed by the dynamism of the Ekiga community. For me, Ekiga is the best softphone with its GUI and its protocol support :-D

Hello, As you might already know, the next release of Ekiga will be an ambitious one, with several merged contributions and new features. It will be the first softphone (even when considering proprietary solutions) to support so many different protocols. There will be a new intuitive GUI, IAX2 support, SIP Presence support and so on. The work is going well, however, I will not be able to complete it in time for the deadlines imposed by the GNOME schedule. Probably a BETA will be ready, but not a final release. As usual, I release when it's ready.
