Hi all, surely you might have noticed that Ekiga has been in constant flux during the last months. There was a lot of implementation of new features going on, and sometimes it wasnt functional at all for some weeks. Today, 23 September, I think we have reached a stage where Ekiga should be mostly functional (however it will probably be broken again in the future), so you can have a glimpse at all the new functionality. Also todays windows build should be quite functional as well. Most notably my new video output module enables the preview window again on windows, and most of the codecs should be functional. There are some known issues that have been documented on
http://wiki.ekiga.org/index.php/HEAD::Issues In general the windows build features some more restrictions / stability issues than the linux version. I would also welcome discussion on problems with current SVN head here on the devel mailing list. Please direct questions regarding ekiga win32 HEAD to the -devel instead of the users mailing list. In case you want to report an issue with current head please first check out the wiki if it has already been noted. There are windows snapshots available at http://snapshots.seconix.com/win32/ I myself have verified very basic functionality with a signle H.264 video call with this binary: http://snapshots.seconix.com/win32/ekiga-setup-cvs-20070923.exe Regards, Matthias ---------------------------------------------------------------- This message was sent using IMP, the Internet Messaging Program. _______________________________________________ Ekiga-devel-list mailing list Ekiga-devel-list@gnome.org http://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/ekiga-devel-list
