You can try ekiga 4.0.0 if it is available to you, or wait until a new release, sorry...

I have used it just for calling out at this place, so I am not sure if I was
reachable from outside. I remember having some issues with ekiga.net
registering from time to time, but I mostly called with diamondcard.

Since I am on a 64bit linux I am not sure what to do with the exe file. Should
I run it through wine?

I am thinking about some proxying or ssh tunnel as last resort.

Thanks

Hello,

previously I have been successfully using ekiga 3.2, but after upgrading to
version 4.0 I have problems to register with both ekiga.net and diamondcard.us.
Occasionally I am registered on startup but I haven't made successful call so
far and am quickly unregistered. I have these problems behind wireless router
that I can not reconfigure.
I attach a debug output corresponding to simple startup with unsuccessful
registration. Also, ekiga complains that it cannot detect network connection
type but it complained with the previous version as well.

Has ekiga 3.2 worked always, I mean for registering AND calling/being
called? You are behind a symmetric nat, which is difficult to bypass by
ekiga.

You can try using http://eugen.dedu.free.fr/m.exe until this issue is
somewhat solved.
