Finally got this working. Our Java application that communicates with elasticsearch is hosted in JBoss server. While creating the transport client we were not passing elasticsearch home dir, plugin dir path explicitly. The default path that was picked up had some wrong reference. We managed to resolve the issue after passing the correct value to path.home. Regards, Preeti
