I am working on a new requirement, in which I have decided to use
ElasticSearch as primary data store. I will be storing around *2 million
records*.
I have to decide on the index and type selection.
My requirement is: I have film director information, working in different
regions, with some specialty.
My frequent queries will be for a particular region, list me the director
names. For a given specialty, list down the director names. For the given
director, list down the specialties.
Which criteria has to be considered for type(region/director name/specialty)
Do I have to use different index for region information, director
information and specialty information. Or a single index with different
types have to be used?
Kindly provide your suggestion.
