The actual wording is “This is the sort of nonsense up with which I will not put”.
It’s often attributed to Winston Churchill but there’s some debate about that. A lot of the modern bad grammar, I put down to the current media. TV announcers in particular who are supposed to be educated but insist on bastardising the English language.
