The list apparently will only accept messages plain text format to limit
file sizes. Am sure this was made very clear when I first joined the Elecraft
Reflector. The AOL 8.0 I used did not have the feature to send messages in
plain
text format only so ran into trouble myself. The answer to get around this
is to ensure that you do not use any of the rich text features of your browser
which is believed to be underlining, highlighting and the like when sending
messages.
Follow this method and there appears to be no problems experienced with the
reflector. Have since changed to AOL 9.0 which will allow messages to be made
in plain text format only when requested, though have not specifically used
the feature only made sure to avoid rich text features.
