Howdy Geoff,
You may have better luck checking in with these folks:

Subject: [Elecraft] Eurasian ECN
Hi gang!
This is just to say that the Eurasian ECN is still alive. Unfortunately I
did not hear Doc, YI9RVT either on 20 nor on 40 lastFridays net.
On 40m the following stations were met:
Bob G3PJT K2
George G3ICO K2
Rob PA0RBO K2
Thanks to all for that activity!
See you next friday, August 6 20m 19:00Z around 14045 Kc
and 40m 20:30Z 7025 Kc

You can try the North American ECN if you like. We are experiencing our
normal Midwestern QRN season. My ears ring-ing-ing-ing for a day or so
after the 40 meter net. 20 meters is a lot less noisy but lately it has
been the QSB which bothers us the most. If I can somehow pass the NCS
slot to the East we do much better.
Good luck checking in to which ever ECN works for you :)

We have had check ins from New Zealand, Kwajalein, South Africa, and Wales.

Hi Geoff:
PLEASE FEEL FREE to join us ANY TIME you can hear us. I was quite
surprised, a while back, when a ZS6 joined us on the net... FIRST(!) real
DX (welll non-western hemisphere) station to check in to the net, I think.
Just make enough noise that we can hear you and we'll do what we can to
check you in.
Please understand that, during our summers, we have a LOT of QRN from
locally-generated thunderstorms and sometimes even hearing (almost) local
stations can be a trial, so if you try to QNI and don't get acknowledged,
it's NOT that we don't want you in, just that our ears are screaming
"HELP" and we can't pull you thru the noise.
73,
Tom N0SS

Greetings all,
Just happened to be in the shack this morning between about 00:30Z and
0400Z - well, chasing YV0D through the stateside QRM on 40m - but had a
good listen around your QRP frequency for most of the time. The UA9s had
all gone, and quite a number of stateside stations coming through, right
out to Arizona. So IF I can do it, shall keep an ear open for the K2s on
the ECN from time to time. Am afraid though that the long path is best
for W6 land.
