Find my K2 knob with the finger dimple added works much better as echoed by
other contributors to the list.
Another route may be done if possible is to add a thin external "tire' to
the K2 knob. Seem to remember there was some discussion of this on the
Elecraft
Reflector earlier in the year and assuming that the parts needed are still
available in the market.
I did this in the past with my JRC JST-135 transceiver by using a VFO knob
from the NRD-535 receiver. Like the K2, the original knob on the JST-135 had a
rough serrated circumference in hard plastic. The knob from the NRD-535 has a
rubber tyre on the circumference which transforms the feel of the knob
totally to the better.
