Thanks to all who tried to keep an ear out for me. Off the mountain now.
Unfortunately the only Elecraft rig worked was AD6GI, Chuck, K2 from Sunnyvale. The K1 worked flawlessly with 33' of wire in a tree and 17' on the ground. Had to work from the tent because weather conditions were horrible, visibility 100 yards and river crossings dangerous. Karl N7NLU >Hi folks, >I'll be bringing a K1 on a 40mi. hike around Mt.
