First of all sorry to all for the incomplete email. Somehow, not all my
message was being sent the last two times.. I think I got it straightend out now

I finaelecraftelecraftlly got a zero beat on the www 10mhz signal and the K2
display reads 10000000 at the beat tone.
I had some problems as shown below. I am using Spectrogram.

First, on my Yaesu MP I have the dial at 10,000,000 and I get tone that changes
between 500 and 600 hz, with a single 1k tone on the minute. Great now I know
where I am!
Then on to the K2. When I zero beat it for the 500 and 600 tones, the dial
on the K2 is at 9999,95 so its a little off... BUT I also got a loud tone at
1100 with sidebands all over on the K2 almost to the point of preventing me
from seeing the 500 and 600 tones. BUT I continued on and ......

Now I come to the procedure to run CAL FCTR and move the probe beteen TP1 and
TP2 , adjusting C22 until the the Khz and Hz digits match ( this is from N6KR
method) , well I couldn't get them to match by adjusting C22. They are about
600 hz off.... BUT I continued on and ran CAL PLL and FIL and...

Now I zero beated again and the K2 display was at 9999.55 and the loud tone at
1100 was gone and I could see the 500 and 600 just like on the MP. Adjusting
C22 now allowed me to get the Khz and Hz digits to match at 14913.38 to 4913.48
. After running CAL PLL and FIL the dial on the K2 reads exactly 10000000 when
zero beating.. Success at last!! Dials on both the MP and K2 match while
zero beating WWW.

Not running CAL PLL and FIL after adjusting C22 really was the cause of it all,
I believe.

Thanks to all you replied, I really appreciate it.
I will wait a week or two get used to it before I add the SSB , IO and tuner
options.
