Dwight,

I've been through similar problems a couple of times. The first place to start is find the 'Cheap and Dirty Signal Tracing' document on the Elecraft Web Site at http://www.elecraft.com/TechNotes/SigTr/K1%20Cheap%20'n%20Dirty%20Signal%20Tracing.pdf. If that does not point to the problem I have found some bad solder joints in the premix filter.

Another thing to do is spin the filter caps about 20 times each. Then start checking the relays in the premix filter when set to 15 meters and the crystal if you have a general coverage receiver available. I'm assuming you are like me without a lot of test equipment?

Good Luck.

Group,

Did the normal search of the archives and elecraft website, without luck.

Biulding a KFL1-4 and got to the Receiver Alignment section. My problem is
with the 15 meter section. Can not hear a signal what so ever. The 40, 30
and 20 meters I can hear signals.

Can anyone point me in the right direction? I seem to be missing it this
weekend.
