- How about tying two together to operate one as transceiver and other as
external receiver? Would work for DX operating split so you can listen in
stereo - one ear on transmit freq and one ear on DX freq.
- How about listening on a separate band while working on another band?
- SO2R?
- Use one to monitor 6M or another band with a transverter.
- One K2 is used as a backup rig at home and the spare can be taken along on
Dxpeditions.

okay I am a bit naive here but why would anyone need two k2s?

I know that elecraft would be happy if we each owned two but is there any
good reasons for having two?
after all I have to justify spending that money
