FOR SALE - Elecraft Special Edition Hexkey serial #E016. Key is wired up and ready to plug into a K2 (gold plated Radio Shack 1/8" stereo jack). The key is in like new condition and works great.
Why am I selling it? My other key is a Schurr PROFI-2 which was put on the shelf for a few months while I used the HEXKEY exclusive. I really love both keys. Both have almost exactly the same great feel. The HEXKEY is very smooth and quiet with it's magnets in place of springs. The Schurr is as smooth but make a quiet clicking sound when in use. I tried the Schurr again after looking at it on the shelf for a few months and realized that it felt just as good as the HEXKEY. The Schurr looks better in solid brass so I'm selling the HEXKEY. Also I bought a new rig yesterday (sorry, not Elecraft) and am trying to make the price more palatable. Price: $165.- which includes an attached cable and connector and shipping.
