Hi, I am sure it's more than useable. Can other owners answer the following two questions:
Is the negative output connected to chassis and the ground prong of the AC plug? If it is, can it be disconnected easily (on the MFJ4125 I currently use this is next to impossible)? Is there any RF hash? The QST review wasn't entirely convincing, but really all that matters is the noise under a light load (RX mode), which they didn't measure. I am interested since I am starting to get fed up with the fan noise from the MFJ and the line regulation isn't stellar.
