Tnx, Don. I read your website item, tried your AGC settings, and even fooled around with them a bit, listening to a busy night on 40m CW. I didn't realize that I could hear the effect of the adjustments as I made them, and that was a help. I'm pleased with the results - the changes even made quite a difference to my up-to-now lack of audio via the speaker! I guess some of us need a little more 'convincing' than others.
