I've been using the Samlex 1235 with my K3, with no problems.  So far, I've not 
detected any RF from it.

However, it does NOT have built-in overvoltage protection, which means if 
anything goes wrong with its voltage regulator it could fry your radio.  I 
prefer not to take that chance, so I built an external overvoltage protector 
for it:

So far, it has worked fine, aside from one shutdown when I turned on the supply 
at high line voltage.  I set the OVP to trip at 14.5 V, with the power supply 
set to 13.8.  It might be better to set the trip point to 15.0.
