I just decided to run the K3 on CW for the CQWW CW with the AL-811H amp. I have used the K3 with amp on ssb and rtty. No apparent problems.
First time on CW, though. I notice that relay on the amp doesn't sound the same as when I was using the amp with the MP.right at the 8ms setting. Increased the TX dly setting to 15 ms and I don't get the constant clicking but the relay does kick on and the CW appears to be transmitted. As an aside, I'm using the MKII. I had read somewhere that you can adjust the delay with the MKII.
