Sam, Not sure which accessory is the KXV3a. I do have the internal tuner and a G5RV and a tribander hooked to the A and B antenna jacks. I have no amp and use the G5RV most of the time. I should also mention that everytime this has happened, it's been right after turning the rig on after it has been sitting overnight in a chilly shack. It'll arc for a few seconds, only while transmitting, and then settle down. So far, I haven't noticed any other anomales in the operation of the rig.
