Good Evening,

Once again the Elecraft net was not skunked. Conditions were rather weak but a few folks braved them and were recognized. I am sure there were others out there under the noise but I was not able to hear you. But this is not too bad a showing considering the CME which smacked the ionosphere last night. The pictures on http://www.prairiejournal.com/northern_lights/051505.htm are pretty spectacular. Maybe soon I'll be closer to the Magnetic North Pole and will be able to enjoy these sights in the night sky. Tom heard me on the first net and gathered in a new one for us. Both a new op and a new area. I am not sure but it appears KP4GL was in Puerto Rico! We'll see when all the dust settles; he may have been visiting the lower 48 instead.

On 14055 kHz at 2253z:
N0SS - Tom - MO - K2 - 008
KP4GL - Carlos - PR - K1 - 1253
AB9V - Mike - IN - K2 - 3993
W0CZ - Ken - ND - K2 - 1031
K5HO - Jim - TX - K1 - 1453

On 7045 kHz at 0200z:
N0SS - Tom - MO - K2 - 008
W0CZ - Ken - ND - K2 - 1031
N9IV - Russ - IN - K2 - 4650

If there are any errors in the above lists please let me know. I am pretty sure I got all the call signs correct but a couple of you were pretty weak and the QSB did not help any. Only three weeks until the second anniversary of the Elecraft CW Net. I hope the conditions allow us to meet with as many previous guests as possible.

Thanks again for the attempt. If I did not hear you I am very sorry I will try harder.
   73,
Kevin. KD5ONS (Net Control Operator 5th Class)
