While looking through the office supply catalog at work, I came across a monitor stand that looked interesting. The width dimension (17") was about the same as the width of the K3 and P3 together. So I bought one and set it up at home. It seems to be a perfect fit for the K3 next to the P3 (including the feet on that side of the K3). I happen to have two small but heavy (and good sounding) speakers that fit right under the stand. It has allowed me to set up my vintage Drake equipment on the desk again.
It's the Kantek MS400, available on Amazon for about $22. I updated the picture on QRZ dot com (or eHam dot net, which has a bigger picture). Even though I love the Drakes, there are 9 boxes on the desk instead of 2 for the K3 (including power supply), and up to 14 knobs must be adjusted to change bands, as opposed to two push-button presses.
