I was hoping someone using one of the Heil Headsets (the 4 element) would respond to this recent mic thread. As a contester, I use these on both my K3's and would be interested in the settings folks use. I've done quite a bit of CW with these great rigs, but not much SSB, so have never been sure that I've got the settings (gain, compression) at best spot. Obviously, I'm looking for a more competitive sound, but, not offensive! Thanks.
