Hi Don

Some hams are already playing around with similar techniques. Since the K3's 2
receivers are already phase coherent, we just need someone that can write the
software/firmware.

In my experience playing around with these systems, is that its best done with
a true direct sampling receivers with no AGC. The Wiener Hopf beam steerer
solution has been found to work well and would be practical for hams to
implement.

Find a DSP guru who is a ham and who has the interest! Everything from beam
steering, noise cancellation and direction finding would then be possible.
Alternatively pick up the phone and call Rohde and Schwarz, they can sell you
of the shelf hardware that will do the job, bring along your lottery ticket
winnings!
