Don't know that any MARs mod is needed. Checking the range of MARS frequencies on the net, the following frequencies were found to be the farthest of any listed from a Ham band: 3308 kHz 4872 kHz 7633.5 kHz 13927 kHz My K2/100 puts out full power on all of these frequencies.
