On the K1, just run the rear-mount bolt through the hole for the tilt
stand. I used to use a pair of magnets (one inside, one glued into the
mount) for the front, but it proved unnecessary; the single bolt does a
fine job!
I used the magnets with a second mount and made myself a portable
desk base by wrapping a steel electrical box cover in black electrical
tape and sticking a pair of feet on the front. Both pieces fit neatly
inside an old AOL CD tin that slips into the laptop bag with my K2.
