Please allow me to echo John's comment below. Many of the current Elecraft reflector members became Elecraft users because early in their career they were enamored with the building of Heathkit radios. So, many of the members of this reflector come armed with a great deal of widespread talent and knowledge. I see a connection here too, and I also applaud the moderators for allowing members to share their vast knowledge, even if it seems to be "general" in nature to some.
