I'm a bit behind reading the digest so bear with me. I would recommend trying several of the WSJT digital modes. JT65a is designed for eme but JT6m was designed specifically for 6m. Look around 50.200 for digital modes and specifically 6m-eme. FSK441a is the meteor scatter mode (50.560).
To find activity check into one of the 6m loggers like Ping Jockey or N0UK eme pages. ON4KST. I am hoping to have my 1100w 6m PA QRV by end of August to try eme. I will probably not have it ready for the Perseids Meteor Shower. 6m is heading into the doldrums until Nov/Dec Es season, so good time to try out ms on 6m. A small yagi and 100w will work ms.
