I thought the question was in regard to recording another ham on the air and playing it back to him over the air?
It was said the alc was sky high thus the playback not being a accurate representation with no way to adjust except rf gain trial and error. I have not used my dvr for that but find it hard to believe that it's not come up before? And Lyle thanking the gentleman for bringing it to his attention. Surely there's got to be operators doing this successfully. No?
