Hello,

I have lost 80m receive on my K2 S/N:7012 intermittently again. For many days
it was working fine, I even added the 160m module during this period and it was
fine, yesterday morning when I turned on the rig, I had no 160,80,17 & 10m.
Cycling through the bands did not bring them back.

I moved the rig to the bench and took the top cover off. I checked the VCO
voltages on R30 and found they were all within spec. I connected an antenna and
found that yes, all bands were working again. (So much for checking the relays
like I wanted to.) Taking the bottom cover off I spent a good couple hours
looking for a bad connection but found none. I reassembled the rig and all day
until it worked perfectly and when I went to bed it was fine. This morning,
problem back. Again, cycling through the bands has no effect HOWEVER I found
that power cycling the rig will often (temporarily) fix the issue. I believe
when the bands come back they will not go away until the rig is shut off but
will remain operational. The rig worked all afternoon and this evening, problem
back. Power cycled 3 or 4 times and 80 was again working.

I am thinking a sticky relay. It looks like the only relay common to all 4
bands is K13 but I need a sanity check before I change out that relay. Can
anyone find any flaws in my logic or offer any advice on additional tests I can
do?

Thank you,
