Hi Julius, I just started using the DVR3 here but I found a way to stop the message. I use WriteLog and programmed one of the function keys to activate the K3's REC button. This is the same thing you would do if running the messages from the K3 front panel. It's not the ESC key I am accustomed to but it does the trick for a SSB contest.
