I have to admit that I have not tested it, yet.

 From the Mini-Circuits spec. sheet the LO drive is +7dBm which is 
easily produced by most OCXO.  Max RF output is +1 dBm with 8-dB 
conversion loss so one will need some gain ahead of it if used in a 
receiving up-converter.  The K3 can generate +1.5mw in TEST mode so 
adding a buffer (2N706 or 2N2222) will suffice for transmitting.

A good two-stage preamp with >30-dB gain should be used for an Rx 
upconverter.  My noise floor runs about -115dBm so that plus 30-dB 
gain offers a signal = -85 -8 = -93 dBm which should be good for most 
receivers (no problem for the K3)..

how much L O drive ?
i understand DBM like a lot of drive
my rcv set up was a bit light for LO but have very good signal handling
ability
and I see no overload CDX using it
