It largely depends on your skill level and organization skills. I had mine up and running in under five hours with regard to actual assembly and calibration time. Parts inventory, layout and reading the assembly manual took an additional two hours. So, eight hours is a reasonable estimate for the average to advanced kit builder.
Of course, fully enjoying the product will take the rest of our lives. :-) 73 - John - N6VCW ________________________________ From: Phil Hystad <phys...@mac.com> To: redtar...@nycap.rr.com Cc: elecraft@mailman.qth.net Sent: Sunday, January 1, 2012 1:04 PM Subject: Re: [Elecraft] How Long will it take to assemble a K3/100?? It took me 8 hours and I did not rush. I think the average is about 8 hours. I found it fairly easy although I forgot to put in one screw and had to take the front panel board thing off and do it again. But, that only cost me about 15 minutes. 73, phil, K7PEH K3 Serial #3799 On Jan 1, 2012, at 1:00 PM, redtar...@nycap.rr.com wrote: > Greetings everyone. I ordered a K3/100 in kit form last week.
