My incident yesterday was on 20M CW during the NAQP. After transmitting I suddenly could not hear any sigs. I looked at my P3 and there were plenty of strong sigs showing up, but I just could not hear them. I tried to tune around, but could not hear anything. I tried transmitting and SWR seemed okay. I was at first unsure what to do, but I decided to change bands by hitting the band button and I believe went down to 30M. I then went right back up to 20M and AF was restored. After that I resumed the contest with no problems. I was using LPBridge and running N1MM and my regular logging program at the same time. Sometimes LPBridge can get hung but that did not appear to happen this time. Everything has been working normally ever since.
It was very weird to then see the series of emails regarding this same phenomenon later in the day! Seems like a firmware bug, but I have not been able to reproduce it.
