Buck, The mic pinout used by Elecraft is *not* the Kenwood pinout. Kenwood puts +8 volts on pin 5 while Elecraft puts it on pin 6. BUT the Heil Kenwood adapter does not connect anything to either pin 5 or pin 6, so it works just fine.
