Thank you Elecraft team for a great amplifier. I want to especially thank the front office staff for rushing the kit out to me even though I called past the normal cut-off for that day's shipments going out. I got the box Friday afternoon and started on the kit this morning. I made my first QSO today with the new amp with a 59+ report. It was amazing to just key up on a new band and watch the amp follow. I am getting about 470 watts with 25 watts drive; around 550 out with 30 in (depends on the band). Temperatures are running cool. Assembly was easy and fun. I don't need an interface with my FT-2000 but just for fun I am going to assemble the cable tonight or tomorrow. With the cable, I won't have to even wait for the RF to hit the amp for it to change bands. I just did a little demo for my son; as soon as I tapped the key, the KPA500 switched from 20m to 15m, instantly. Great job Elecraft! 73 Alan WA6KEK
