Chris: There are a couple of ways to determine this:
http://www.elecraft.com/K3/k3_software.htm shows the current K3 firmware revisions numbers. If you start the K3 Utility and click the "Copy Files from Elecraft" from the firmware tab, the K3 Utility will copy the most recent "production" firmware files onto your personal computer and and compare them with what's in your K3. Often (but not right now) a pre-production "Beta" firmware version is available.
