I've tried my old 444D too and like the sound of it with no TX EQ.

I pressed my 40 year old Shure 444D into service with my K3. Cosmetically,
it goes very well with the K3.
On-the-air reports, the locals on I chew with on 75 says it sounds just
fine. I used the stock settings in the K3. Someday I will try tweaking the
settings.
