I'm not familiar with the P3 firmware, nor your particular keyboard, but one reason that MIGHT prevent it from working is if the P3 firmware relies on USB HID boot mode support, which some wireless devices do not implement. Maybe Paul can comment if boot mode support is required by the firmware....
