@Vic: You could temporarily connect the both IF connections from outside the K3 to your KXV3 transverter BNC inputs if you can make up the right cables. Not sure how to route them from the K144XV in the K3 out to the back of the K3 (mines already packed for the contest) but that is the only possible "short-time" way to do it. To do a "final" install you'll need a KXV3A.
